BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE.
DESIGNED FOR MANUFACTURING.

WHY I BUILT UNIMODULE

After more than 3 decades working in manufacturing, I had become increasingly frustrated by software designed by people who had never worked on a factory floor.

Manufacturers were being asked to adapt their businesses around disconnected systems, rigid processes and software that failed to reflect how factories actually operate.

I believed manufacturers deserved better. So I built Unimodule.

THE PROBLEM I KEPT SEEING

Throughout my career, I saw manufacturers relying on separate systems for quotation, planning, purchasing, inventory, production and delivery.

Departments worked in silos. Information was entered repeatedly. Production teams and office teams followed different processes and often worked from different information.

Planning remained dependent on spreadsheets and constant manual intervention. Shop-floor activity remained disconnected from the wider business. Essential functionality often required additional modules, third-party extensions and costly bolt-ons.

The software intended to support manufacturers frequently created as many problems as it solved. Instead of improving operations, teams spent valuable time working around the limitations of their systems.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH

Unimodule was not designed by starting with a conventional software system and asking manufacturers to work around it.

It started with the factory itself.

Every workflow, screen and capability has been shaped by hands-on manufacturing experience and an understanding of how projects, products, materials, people and production interact in the real world.

The result is one integrated manufacturing platform designed around the way manufacturers actually work.

BUILT BY EXPERIENCE

36 years of manufacturing experience
Built on decades of direct experience across manufacturing operations.

More than 30 years in planning and production
Created with a practical understanding of the pressures involved in maintaining capacity, priorities, resources and delivery commitments.

Real factory operations
Designed around the realities of the shop floor, warehouse, production office and wider business.

Real manufacturing challenges
Developed to address the operational problems manufacturers face every day, not theoretical software requirements.

A practical manufacturing solution
Built to connect the full manufacturing lifecycle through one platform, one shared source of information and one consistent way of working.

MANUFACTURERS DESERVE BETTER SOFTWARE

The goal behind Unimodule is simple:

To give manufacturers software that supports the way their businesses work, rather than forcing people and processes to adapt to the limitations of disconnected systems.

That means connecting departments rather than reinforcing silos. Automating processes rather than adding administration. Keeping information current rather than relying on repeated data entry. Supporting the realities of production rather than treating manufacturing like a generic business process.

Unimodule was built because manufacturing software should make running a factory easier, clearer and more connected.
